HomeMy WebLinkAbout2009-09-08 Commissioner MinutesTUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2009 The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, September 8, 2009, with the following members present: Robert L. Thomas, David S. Keller and Robert G. Ziobrowski. Chairman Thomas presided and after calling the meeting to order, and the Pledge of Allegiance proceeded with the business of the day. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously approved to adopt the agenda. The minutes of September 1, 2009 and September 3, 2009 meetings were read. These will be approved and signed on Thursday, September 10, 2009. The Board reviewed Agreements and Contracts. These will be approved and signed on Thursday, September 10, 2009. The Board reviewed Emergency Services matters. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously approved the 2009 Pandemic Influenza Plan. The Board met with the Assistant County Solicitor to review related matters. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously approved the Letter of Agreement between the County of Franklin and Rhoades & Wodarczyk to provide pension related legal work for the County at a cost of $185.00 per hour for senior attorneys and $150.00 per hour for experienced attorneys at a cost not to exceed $1,000.00. The Board met with the Fiscal Director who gave an update on the year to date budget and the Elected Officials budget reductions. Commissioner Keller will communicate with the Elected Officials that need to make further reductions and will report back to the Board with their responses.
