The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, October 27, 2009, with the
following members present: Robert L. Thomas, David S. Keller and Robert G.
Ziobrowski. Chairman Thomas presided and after calling the meeting to order, and the
Pledge of Allegiance proceeded with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously
approved to adopt the agenda.
The minutes of October 20, 2009 and October 22, 2009 meetings were read.
These will be approved and signed on Thursday, October 29, 2009.
The Board reviewed Agreements and Contracts. These will be approved and
signed on Thursday, October 29, 2009.
John Hart, Chief Clerk/County Administrator provided an update on the facility
process. Workgroup is working hard, looking at security levels, and a number of sites
with advantages and disadvantages. Board signed an Agreement with Carter Goble Lee
in August to do master planning. Information will be provided to the Board on co-
location, security and architecture firms at a later date. Mr. Hart also informed the board
that the Technology Committee is looking at grants that will help to look at the County
processes, how doing business and looking for efficiencies.
The Board met with the County Solicitor and the Assistant County Solicitor to
review related matters.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously
approved to enter an executive session at 9:33 a.m. this date for the purpose to
review Litigation matters. The Board reconvened into regular session at 9:45 a.m.
The Board conducted a Budget Hearing with Wayne Tanner from Air 10
Ambulance Service.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by David S. Keller.
