TUESDAY, AUGUST 3, 2010
The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, August 3, 2010, with the
following members present: David S. Keller, Robert L. Thomas and Robert G.
Ziobrowski. Chairman Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, and the
Pledge of Allegiance proceeded with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski, seconded by Robert L. Thomas;
unanimously approved to adopt the agenda.
No Public Comment.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski, seconded by Robert L. Thomas;

unanimously approved the minutes of July 27, 2010 and July 29, 2010 meetings.
The Board reviewed Archivist matters. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski,
seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved the 2010 Budget Adjustment in
the amount of $3,700.00 to cover furniture for the new location.
The Board reviewed additional Archivist matters. On a motion by Robert G.
Ziobrowski, seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved the Change Order
Form from the original contract dated February 18, 2010 between the County of Franklin
and General Code to provide two days of Laserfische training for the Archival
Department at a cost of $3,000.00.
The Board reviewed Information Services matters. On a motion by Robert G.
Ziobrowski, seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved the Budget
Adjustment in the amount of $3,400.00 for the transfer of monies for the contract
amendment for consulting services related to the IS Steering Committee.
Commissioner Keller asked the workgroup to give their recommendation of the
Architect Engineer. The Facility Work Group unanimously selected Noelker and Hull and
Silling Associates as the architect engineer firms to perform the design of the new
judicial Facility. The committee also recommended to the Board that they interview only
one firm. All committee members spoke in favor of the recommendations. The Board
accepted the committee’s recommendations and advised staff to schedule an interview
with Noelker and Hull and Sillings Associates for Thursday, August 5.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:50 a.m. with a motion by Robert L. Thomas;
seconded by Robert G. Ziobrowski.
