I.Welcome and Introduction –Steve Thomas welcomes the group and
thanks them for attending.
II.Approval of Meeting Minutes –August 17,2023 –Motion to approve
minutes from August 17th meeting made by Tom Newcomer,Seconded by Bob
Ziobrowksi.
III.Business
a.I-81 Prioritization Final Report -Brian Funkhouser presents the I81
prioritization final report.Fred Young asks Brian Funkhouser if the
estimated cost for TIP priority #3 for exit 12 in antrim township is correct.
Brian says yes and that these are from 2020.
Motion to adopt the priorities as set out in the study.Motion made by Bob
Ziobrokwsi,seconded by Dave Mackley.None opposed.
b.Washington/Waynesboro Bicycle/Pedestrian Trail Accommodation Study
–Discussion -Patrick Mctish from Michael Baker presents on the
washington/waynesboro bicycle ped trail study.Kenana recommends
changing wording if they are not anticipating going for TIP funding.
c.Cumberland Valley Rail Trail –Steve gives an update on the CVRT
feasibility study from Shippensburg to Chambersburg.
DRAFTd.TIP Modifications 2023-2026 -If anyone has any questions they can reach
out to Kenana Zejcirovic.These are informational only.
IV.Partner Updates
a.Susquehanna Regional Transportation Partnership Update -Matt Boyer
gives an update on the SRTP.171 new people joined the system last month
and took 194 miles off the road.Total of $87,000 saved by all users.
b.Rabbittransit Update -Beth Nidam has no new updates.RabbitTransit is
very busy and moving along with business as usual.
c.PennDOT Update -Kenana states that starting on Nov 27th there will be a
new acting district executive.Gavin Gray will be in this position until March
2024.
-Edward Sheehe says 2 awards for Franklin County for level 3 car chargers.
Located at Chambersburg square parking lot and TA off 81 in greencastle.
d.FHWA Update -Ronnique Bishop gives an update on FWHA and will
provide the MPO with links to share with everyone.
e.Director’s Report –Steve Thomas thanks his team for their work on the
comprehensive plan and tells the room to be on the lookout for some press
releases about the Comprehensive Plan.
f.Staff Report –Matthew Romero gives an update on the staff report for
the 2024-2025 UPWP.Annual HPMS sampling was recently completed.
V.Future Meetings
a.January 18 –TAC Meeting 9:30 A.M.
b.February 15 –Policy Board Meeting 10 A.M.
