Q7: What is the project time length? A7: Please refer to Addendum 1. Q8: Can we see the pre bid sign in sheet? A8: Please refer to https://www.franklincountypa.gov/current-solicitation-opportunities/. Q9: There does not seem to be any structural changes , so please confirm that a permit is not required. A9: The contractor is responsible for all Taxes, Permits, Fees, Insurance and Bonding costs for this project. All costs must be included in the bid price. It is the contractor's responsibility to determine is a permit is required or not. Q10: Will the lighting protection be required to be reinstalled on new units by the contractor? A10: The lightning protection will need to be reinstalled. Q11: If the basebid is accepted, will the two pate rails and one electrical conduit for the acc-1 have to be removed and roof patched? A11: The vendor will not be required to do that work in that circumstance. Q12: What manufacturer or brand is the roof, and does the roof have a warranty on it? A12: The roof is from Versico. There is no existing warranty on it. Q13: Will temporary heat/ ac be required when the system is down? A13: No. Q14: The bid document states that the pre-bid meeting was optional, but later in the document it also states it is mandatory. Can you confirm which is correct? A14: The pre-bid meeting is optional.
