HomeMy WebLinkAbout2010-09-21 Commissioner Minutes TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2010 The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, September 21, 2010, with the following members present: David S. Keller, Robert L. Thomas and Robert G. Ziobrowski. Chairman Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, and the Pledge of Allegiance proceeded with the business of the day. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved to adopt the agenda. There was no public comment. The minutes of September 14, 2010 and September 16, 2010 meetings were read. These will be approved Thursday, September 23, 2010. The Board reviewed Agreements and Contracts. These will be approved Thursday, September 23, 2010. The Board reviewed Courts matters. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved the Agreement and voucher warrant for payment between the County of Franklin and Haydee Greene to provide English – Spanish Interpreter and translator services for Courts and other offices at a cost of $45.00 per hour for the period of January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010. The Board reviewed Commissioners Office matters. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved the Deposit Administrator Agreement between the Franklin County Retirement Board and Loomis, Sayles and Company to provide investment manager services for the investment account. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; to enter an executive session at 9:24 a.m. this date for the unanimously approved purpose to review Real Estate Transaction matters. The Board reconvened into regular session at 10:30 a.m. Mary Beth Shank, County Solicitor, was present but asked that solicitor time be moved to Thursday, due to needing the Chief Assessor present to discuss tax assessment appeals.
