I.Welcome and introduction -Steve welcomes the board and thanks everyone for
attending.He lets the board know Dr.Jack Benhart has resigned from his position on the
board.Steve says we will put out a notice for an opening on the board.
II.Approval of Minutes –May 2,2024 -Motion to approve made by Dave Mackley,seconded
by John Poniske
III.Public Comment -(no public comment)
IV.Staff Reports
a.Staff Reports as submitted -staff report sent out,no major updates other than CDBG
project application has closed and they will be going through them for 2024 projects.
b.Director’s Report and Planning Updates -Looking to have Ag Preservation 20,000 acre
celebration next year.
V.New Business
a.Cumberland Valley Rail Trail Feasibility Study -Steve discusses the CVRT feasibility
study and explains what it is and why it needs to be done.
VI.Subdivisions
a.May 2024 –July 2024 -Motion to approve made by Dave Mackley,seconded by
Austin Rosenbaum.
VII.Remarks
a.Next meeting –November 7,2024
b.Bob Ziobrowksi states it appears the South Mountain Golf Course is a done deal and
the lease will not be renewed.
DRAFTc.Transource Agreement -No longer fighting with taxpayer money,will be getting $5
million and $4 million allocated for movement of the lines.
