I.Welcome and introduction:Dr.Jack Benhart welcomes the group and thanks them for
coming.
II.Approval of Minutes –May 4,2023 motion to approve made by John Poniske,seconded
by Andy Paszkowksi.
III.Public Comment -No Public Comment
IV.Staff Reports
A.Staff Reports as submitted -Light discussion on staff report
B.Director’s Report and Planning Updates -Steve updates the board on staffing and
department updates.
i.Staffing -Steve updates the board on staffing updates in our department.
ii.Cumberland Valley Rail Trail Economic Impact Assessment -Sent out to board in separate
email.Report on economic impact of extending the rail trail.
iii.Mercersburg Borough Comprehensive Plan -Joint comp plan Discussion
iv.Letterkenny /Lurgan Comprehensive Plan -Also doing Joint comp plan,gave letter of
support.
V.New Business
A.Comprehensive Plan Approval,-Motion to approve the comp plan to be submitted
to the commissioners for consideration made by Dave Mackley,Seconded by
Austin Rosenbaum.
VI.Subdivisions
A.May 2023 –July 2023.May and June sent in the meeting packet email.July report
paper copy available at meeting.Motion to approve meeting packets made by
Dave Mackley,seconded by John Poniske
VII.Remarks
Offer to set up a table at memorial park during an event by John Poniske for public
outreach.
