Load Bank Scope
Resistive Load Bank Test - Scope of Work (Typical)
On Watch LLC (DBA On Watch Generator Service) will provide the required load
bank(s) and other associated equipment to perform the load bank test as specified
below.
- Lockout / Tag out generator and associated equipment to make safe for connections.
- Hook up the load bank at the customer's designated point of connection.
- At the generator breaker (On Watch’s technician will land connections)
- At the ATS (If connection at the generator breaker is not available, connection through
an ATS or switchgear may require the Owner to provide a qualified electrical contractor.)
- At the Switchgear (Electrical contractor required to connect and disconnect cables)
Contract Stated Time (2HR) resistive load test will be performed in steps as follows:
- 15Min: 30% of rated load.
- 15Min: 50% of rated load.
- 30 Min 75% of rated load.
- 60 Min 100% of rated load.
- 15-30 minutes must be allowed for engine cool down.
Upon completion of the test, the load bank and associated equipment will be
disconnected.
Reverse the Lockout / Tag out procedure to return the unit to service.
Demobilize equipment, restore the area to the condition it was found
Fill out and submit reports, recommendations and test data.
NOTE: Additional charges may apply if the scheduled test is delayed, postponed, or
cannot be completed due to circumstances beyond the Contractor's control, including
unavailable outages, inaccessible equipment, or equipment deficiencies.

Assumptions
1. Engine Tune-Up Components
Spark plugs, ignition wires, ignition coils (where applicable), and engine air filters were not
specifically identified as required preventive maintenance replacement items within the
solicitation. These components have not been included in the quoted pricing to avoid
unnecessarily increasing the overall contract cost. If inspection determines replacement is
required, these items will be quoted separately for approval prior to replacement.
2. Normal Business Hours
Scheduled preventive maintenance pricing is based on work performed during normal business
hours. Emergency service requested outside normal business hours will be billed in accordance
with the Contractor's emergency service rates or separately quoted if outside the scope of this
agreement.
3. Preventive Maintenance Scope
The solicitation requires two (2) semiannual preventive maintenance visits but does not
distinguish between a minor and major preventive maintenance service. Accordingly, On Watch
Generator Services has based Preventive maintenance pricing based on the maintenance items
specifically identified within the RFQ.
4. Manufacturer Recommendations
Preventive maintenance services will be performed in accordance with the solicitation
requirements. Where the solicitation conflicts with or omits manufacturer-recommended
maintenance intervals or replacement items, On Watch Generator Services reserves the right to
recommend additional maintenance necessary to maintain equipment reliability. Such
recommendations are outside the base contract price unless specifically included in the
solicitation.
5. Consumables
Oil, coolant, fuel, filters, and other consumables included in this proposal are limited to those
specifically required by the preventive maintenance scope described above. Additional fluids or
replacement materials required due to leaks, contamination, equipment condition, or corrective
repairs are excluded and will be quoted separately.
6. Site Access
Pricing assumes reasonable escort access to all generator equipment, transfer switches, control
equipment, and associated electrical rooms during scheduled service visits. Delays resulting from
security procedures, customer scheduling conflicts, escort requirements, restricted access,
locked facilities, equipment being unavailable, or other owner-caused delays may require
rescheduling or additional labor charges.

7. Load Bank Testing
Pricing for load bank testing is based on connecting the load bank directly at the generator output
breaker or other existing manufacturer-approved load connection point without requiring
modifications to the electrical system, temporary wiring, special adapters, additional cabling
beyond standard equipment, or third-party electrical services.
Pricing further assumes the generator, automatic transfer switch, and associated electrical
distribution equipment are operational and capable of safely accepting the required load at the
scheduled time of testing.
Should load bank testing be delayed, interrupted, or unable to be completed due to equipment
deficiencies, site conditions, restricted access, unavailable outages, utility restrictions, or other
circumstances beyond the Contractor's control, any additional mobilization, load bank rental,
transportation, return trip costs, or additional labor required to complete the testing may be billed
separately.
If field conditions require an alternate load connection method, temporary electrical modifications,
connection through switchgear or distribution equipment, additional engineering, or licensed
electrical support beyond the assumptions above, such work is outside the scope of this proposal
and will be quoted separately.
If a scheduled load bank test must be rescheduled solely due to actions or omissions of On
Watch Generator Services, any additional mobilization or load bank rental costs incurred as a
direct result of the rescheduling will be the responsibility of On Watch Generator Services.
8. Equipment Inventory
This proposal is based solely on the equipment inventory, quantities, specifications, and
information provided within the solicitation documents. Should additional generators, automatic
transfer switches (ATS), fuel systems, switchgear, load banks, remote radiators, annunciators,
accessories, or other associated equipment be identified after contract award that were not
included in the solicitation, On Watch Generator Services reserves the right to negotiate an
equitable adjustment to the contract price and/or service schedule.
9. Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) Scope
This proposal includes only the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) inspections, testing, and
maintenance specifically identified within the solicitation documents. Since the solicitation
specifies visual inspection but does not expressly require loaded transfer testing, unloaded
transfer testing, operational exercising, preventive maintenance, de-energized maintenance,
cleaning, torque verification, or other manufacturer-recommended ATS maintenance, these
services have not been included in the base proposal. If requested by the Owner, additional ATS
testing or maintenance will be quoted separately.
10. OEM-Equivalent Parts and Fluids
Replacement filters, lubricants, and coolants included in this proposal are based on OEM-
equivalent products meeting or exceeding manufacturer specifications.

11. Proprietary Manufacturer Software
This proposal assumes that routine preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs can be
completed using industry-standard diagnostic equipment and tools. Certain manufacturers utilize
proprietary, manufacturer-controlled software that is licensed exclusively to authorized dealers or
service providers for functions such as controller firmware updates, software upgrades, controller
programming, parameter changes, retrofit commissioning, or other manufacturer-restricted
operations.
If performance of the requested work requires access to proprietary manufacturer software that is
not commercially available to independent service providers, such services are outside the scope
of this proposal and may be performed through an authorized manufacturer representative or
licensed software provider. Any associated software licensing fees, dealer service charges, or
subcontracted services required solely to access proprietary manufacturer software will be quoted
separately for Owner approval prior to performing the work.
