TUESDAY, AUGUST 9, 2011
The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, August 9, 2011, with the
following members present: David S. Keller, Robert L. Thomas and Robert G.
Ziobrowski. Chairman Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, and the
Pledge of Allegiance proceeded with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas;
unanimously approved to adopt the agenda.
There was no public comment.
The minutes of August 2, 2011 and August 4, 2011 meetings were read. These
will be approved Thursday, August 11, 2011.
The Board reviewed Agreements and Contracts. Mr. Hart provided more
information on the contract with Morefield/Avaya due to this being a replacement for
cheaper pricing on a previously approved contract for the same service on July 21,
2011. The Agreements will be approved Thursday, August 11, 2011.
The Board reviewed Property Management matters. The recommendation is to
go with the lowest bidder which is Porters Carpet and Furniture. On a motion by Robert
G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved to award the bid
for the Carpet for Human Services Building to Porters Carpet and Furniture for a total bid
price of $32,109.00. This proposal is the lowest responsible bidder.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:47 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by Robert L. Thomas.
