The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, March 6, 2018, with the
following members present: David S. Keller and Robert G. Ziobrowski. Chairman
Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, a Moment of Silence, and the
Pledge of Allegiance, proceeded with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously
approved to adopt the agenda.
Kim Wertz provide public comment and asked for more information on board
action item #2, agreement with Kofile Technologies, Inc. to mend, preserve and restore
Register of Wills indexes.
The minutes of the February 27, 2018 and March 1, 2018 meetings were
reviewed. These will be decided upon on Thursday, March 8, 2018.
The Board reviewed Agreements, Contracts and Reports. Carrie Gray, County
Administrator, provided details about the Register and Recorder action item and
indicated that she will get additional details from Register and Recorder Linda Miller. The
items will be approved Thursday, March 8, 2018.
John Thierwechter, Emergency Services Director, was present to explain that
Andrew Repp, Communication Center Shift Supervisor, completed his requirements for
Advanced Certification with PA Emergency Management Agency (PEMA). He explained
that Mr. Repp had to complete nine classes beyond the Basic Certification to obtain the
Advanced Certification. Many of the courses were held at PEMA since they were not
available online. The Board presented Mr. Repp with his certification plaque.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:40 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by David S. Keller.
