TUESDAY, JULY 10, 2018
The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, July 10, 2018, with the
following members present: David S. Keller, Robert L. Thomas and Robert G.
Ziobrowski. The Board attended the Prison Board meeting. Chairman Keller presided
and after calling the meeting to order, a Moment of Silence, and the Pledge of
Allegiance, proceeded with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas;
unanimously approved to adopt the agenda.
There was no public comment.
The minutes of the July 3, 2018 and July 5, 2018 meetings were reviewed.
These will be decided upon on Thursday, July 12, 2018.
The Board reviewed Agreements, Contracts and Reports. Commissioner
Thomas noted that the Adult Probation Grant-in-Aid request that is on the board action
list for approval this week historically results in the County only receiving a small fraction
of the amount that it takes to operate Adult Probation even though the State mandates a
lot of the programs. The following item was approved today while the remaining items
will be approved Thursday, July 12, 2018.
Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved Resolution 2018-6
Authorizing Chairman Keller and County Administrator Gray to sign all documents
related to the acquisition of the Hood Street lot.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas;
unanimously approved to enter an executive session at 9:42 a.m. this date for the
purpose to review real estate matters. No action will be required after executive session.
The Board reconvened into regular session at 10:24 a.m.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:25 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by Robert L. Thomas.
