The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, July 24, 2018, with the
following members present: David S. Keller, Robert L. Thomas and Robert G.
Ziobrowski. Chairman Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, a Moment
of Silence, and the Pledge of Allegiance, proceeded with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas;
unanimously approved to adopt the agenda.
There was no public comment.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas;
unanimously approved a voucher authorizing the expenditure of funds for the purchase
of the Hood Street property which is going to settlement on Thursday.
The minutes of the July 17, 2018 and July 19, 2018 meetings were reviewed.
These will be decided upon on Thursday, July 26, 2018.
The Board reviewed Agreements, Contracts and Reports. Commissioner
Thomas confirmed that the enhancements for the Grant Street property (board action
items 4-7, quotes from NAC Divisions), will continue to be used for Archives once the
Commissioners' Office moves out of that property. The items will be approved
Thursday, July 26, 2018.
The Board was asked to consider appointments to the South Central Inter-
County Communications Network Executive Board (SCICNET — EB). Chairman Keller
explained that the County entered in an agreement with Dauphin and Adams Counties
for additional backup capabilities as part of an emergency services network. ach county
is to have two individuals appointed to the SCICNET Board. On a motion by Robert G.
Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved to appoint Bryan
Stevenson and Jason Miller to the South Central Inter-County Communications Network
Executive Board (SCICNET — EB) effective July 24, 2018.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:38 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by Robert L. Thomas.
