The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, January 27, 2009, with the
following members present: Robert L. Thomas, David S. Keller and Robert G.
Ziobrowski. Vice Chairman Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, and
the Pledge of Allegiance proceeded with the business of the day.
On a motion by David S. Keller, seconded by Robert G. Ziobrowski; unanimously
approved to adopt the agenda.
The minutes of January 20, 2009 and January 22, 2009 meetings were read.
These will be approved and signed on Thursday, January 29, 2009
The Board reviewed Agreements and Contracts. These will be approved and
signed on Thursday, January 29, 2009.
The Board met with the County Solicitor to review related matters.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously
approved the Certificate of Authority from M&T Investment Group to appoint Richard C.
Wynn, Franklin County Human Services Administrator to receive the distribution of funds
on behalf of the Franklin County Transportation Department.
Susan Parry, Coordinator from the Capital Region Conservation and
Development Area Council, Inc. (Capital RC&D) met with the Board to provide a
presentation on the projects and activities that Capital RC&D provided in 2008.
The Board of Assessment and Revision of Taxes met to hear tax assessment
appeals.
The Board recessed at 11:35 a.m. and will reconvene at 3:00 p.m.
Commissioner Thomas entered the meeting room at 3:00 p.m.
The Board attended a Franklin County Retirement Board meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:40 p.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by David S. Keller.
