Referrals will continue to be rotated so that UCP continues to receive a variety of locations for referrals as well. Pelican Updates Trish reviewed the Provider Readiness packet about billing through PELICAN. If anyone needs more copies for session notes please let Trish know and she can get more. For 2 plus years Holly has been doing all the billing and does all authorizations and makes sure all session notes match. Trish is now doing this process until PELICAN is up and running. Holly still remains point of contact for questions or problems she can pass these onto Trish. Please keep in mind that discharge forms alone do not take place of an e-mail or phone call so that there is not lack of communication with the SCs about and discharges or closed services. Providers are going to be responsible for other mandatory trainings. She also stated that everyone that attends the county CPR trainings should be on time, and if they are fifteen minutes late they will not receive credit for the training. She stated how important to the trainer and others taking the trainings that everyone be on time.
