Via Conference Phone: Cheryl Gazen/Jody Bering-LIU, Shelly Tobin-Invo.  End of FY 11-12 Billing: Megan pointed out that the due date for billing for the end of fiscal year 11-12 is July 18, 2012. Trish asked that providers make EI staff aware immediately of any billing issues or problems.  Address Changes: Holly requested that Service Coordinators (SC) be notified as soon as possible of any changes in families’ addresses.  Progress Monitoring Reports: Therapists/Providers were reminded to make their own copies of any reports they generate, in lieu of requesting the Service Coordinators to do so.  Goals: Service Coordinators need to be notified as soon as possible when plans include goals no longer being worked on so the plans may be revised and remain up to date.  Nutritionists: The possibility of Providers providing nutritionist services to children was discussed. The pay rate would be the same as Special Instruction. Trish agreed to find out more information about nutrition services offered by Fulton County Services for Children to share with interested Providers.  Changes in Pelican: A letter of medical necessity is now needed to bill medical assistance for Service Coordination activities. Obtaining a letter of Medical Necessity does not affect provider billing.  Positive Behavior Grant: Franklin-Fulton Counties were awarded a Positive Behavior Grant and partnered with the LIU and UCP as providers. Dr. Amy Swope will be providing training on the Pyramid Model at Rhodes Grove on 10/16/12 and all therapists should plan to attend. Trish will send out a “Save the Date” email as well as additional information on the training after receiving it. The meeting was adjourned. The next EI Provider meeting is on October 19th from 10 AM – 12 PM in conference room 112 in MH/ID suite at 425 Franklin Farm Lane in Chambersburg. Minutes by M.P.
