HomeMy WebLinkAbout2013-07-23 Commissioner Minutes TUESDAY, JULY 23, 2013 The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, July 23, 2013, with the following members present: David S. Keller and Robert G. Ziobrowski. Chairman Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, a Moment of Silence, and the Pledge of Allegiance proceeded with the business of the day. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously approved to adopt the agenda. There was no public comment. The minutes of July 16, 2013 and July 18, 2013 meetings were reviewed. These will be approved Thursday, July 25, 2013. The Board reviewed Agreements, Contracts and Reports. Chairman Keller asked John Hart, County Administrator to have someone here on Thursday to explain further items #5, agreement with Healthy Community Partnership and item #2, agreement with CenturyLink. The Board had questions about the District Attorney contract for tower use and the agreement with New Hope Shelter and Mr. Hart provided more information on these items. The following item was approved today and the remainder items will be approved Thursday, July 25, 2013. The Board reviewed Assessment matters. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously approved the request from QBE First Tax Services to purchase a copy of the assessor file for Franklin County to contain all dollar amounts for all school districts in Franklin County. The Board reviewed Property Management matters and conducted a bid opening for the Commissioners Complex Exterior Painting Project. One bidder submitted a bid. E.E. Mills & Sons Painting, LLC provided a bid of $24,500.00. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously approved to forward the bids received to the Maintenance Director, the County Solicitor and the Purchasing Agent for their review. The Board will award or reject the bids on July 25, 2013 at 9:45 AM. The meeting was adjourned at 9:51 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller.
