The Franklin County Commissioners proudly presented the September 2024 Employee of the Month
award to Samuel Jones. Sam has been employed by Franklin County since July 2017 and serves as
Recognition (STAR) Committee, which received 22 nominations for the September award,
“Samuel Jones shows enthusiasm for his position every day,” said one nomination. “He takes care
of his subordinates by ensuring they are happy at work and trained for the job. He keeps the security
schedule up to date and correct. Samuel ensures the security division is up to date with all current
threats. He ensures the security sections process all the required material to carry out their jobs
