RESOLUTIONOFTHEFRANKLIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS FIXINGTHERATEOF
COMPENSATIONFOR THE OFFICE OF ELECTED TAX COLLECTORS IN AND FOR THE
COUNTY OF FRANKLIN EFFECTIVE FOR THE ENSUING TERM(S).
WHEREAS, under theprovisions oftheLocalTaxCollection Code, 72P.S.5511.36(a),any
increase orreduction inthecompensation paidfor theoffice ofappointed/electedtaxcollector must
bemadebyaresolution finally passed oradoptedprior tothefifteenth (15th) day ofFebruary ofthe
year of the Municipal Election for said office oftax collector; and
WHEREAS, thenextMunicipal Electionfortheofficeofelectedtaxcollector willoccur
during the year 2025.
NOW,THEREFORE,beitresolvedbytheFranklinCountyCommissionersanditishereby
resolved by authority of the same as follows:
Inaccordance with the provisions of the Local Tax Collection Code, Act of1945, P.L.
1050, Section 36a, asamended (72P.S.5511.36(a)), per bill compensation for the
appointed/electedtax collectors for theCounty ofFranklin for thenext ensuing term
commencing subsequent tothedate hereof andfor each term thereafter until further amended,
shall be $4.10per bill, effective January 1,2026 through December 31, 2029.
