HomeMy WebLinkAbout2010-12-07 Commissioner Minutes TUESDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2010 The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, December 7, 2010, with the following members present: David S. Keller, Robert L. Thomas and Robert G. Ziobrowski. Chairman Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, and the Pledge of Allegiance proceeded with the business of the day. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved to adopt the agenda. There was no public comment. The minutes of November 30, 2010 and December 2, 2010 meetings were read. These will be approved Thursday, December 9, 2010. The Board reviewed Agreements and Contracts. These will be approved Thursday, December 9, 2010. The Board reviewed Emergency Services matters. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved the Amendment to Lease to modify the purchase option agreement between Motorola and County of Franklin in the amount of $4,225,115.00 for the Astro 25 trunking system equipment in order to permit payoff of the lease at March 31, June 30, or September 30, 2011 in addition to January 1, 2011 as in the original document. All other terms remain the same. The Board reviewed Custodial matters. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved to award the bid for Custodial to Cook’s Cleaning Services for a total bid Services for the Magisterial District Judges price of $1,042.00 per month. This bidder was the sole bidder. The Board reviewed Property Management matters. This was the date to award/reject bids for the 2004 or Newer Replacement Truck. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved to reject the bid received due to bid not meeting bid specification about mileage. This will be rebid at a later date.
