2.General Program Updates
a. Chair board member will be determined; Tammy Bair will give her decision
on chair acceptance at October meeting, until then Manny will remain acting
chair board member.
b. Follow up on Susanne Reed; she was given outcomes to complete as part of
her quality monitoring with C&S Reed Consulting. C&S Reed Consulting’s
monitoring was not mandated by the state. We found extensive findings;
however, we are hopeful that we can get things corrected and functioning
correctly in Fulton County. In 60 days we go back out to check to make sure
that they have implemented their corrective action plan. Fulton County
Probation depends highly on her business for assessments and outpatient
counseling. Susanne is also employed by White Deer Run as a mobile
assessor. She currently is not MA licensed, but she does accept county
funded and self-pay clients. She also runs DAPP groups (Relapse
Prevention) two days a week in Franklin County. We will schedule to meet
and continue follow up at the end of the summer.
c. D&A has requested to refill the vacant Case Management Trainee position;
we have had an increase in clients with demand for treatment services as well
as client assessments in jail.
3.Vacant DAPP Case Manager Position
a.Currently our DAPP Case Manager position is vacant; this position holds a
maximum case load of 25 clients. This is a partnership position with
Probation and Drug and Alcohol Program. The position was housed at Adult
Probation but will be coming back to Drug and Alcohol Program office when
rd
the position is filled. Interviews for positions are set for Wednesday, July 3.
