The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, March 18, 2014, with the
following members present: David S. Keller, Robert L. Thomas and Robert G.
Ziobrowski. Chairman Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, a Moment
of Silence, and the Pledge of Allegiance, proceeded with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas;
unanimously approved to adopt the agenda.
Alicia Kanelopoulos provided public comment and asked what the end date is for
the project for board action item #4, Letter of Agreement with Hay Group, Inc. Chairman
Keller said the Board will respond in a timely manner.
The minutes of March 11, 2014 and March 13, 2014 meetings were reviewed.
These will be approved Thursday, March 20, 2014.
The Board reviewed Agreements, Contracts and Reports. Commissioner
Thomas asked for more information on board action item #4 to respond to Ms.
Kanelopoulos question during public comment and Mr. Hart explained this item further.
The Board asked for more information on item #2, Resolution #2014-05 to execute
documents pursuant to funds from Carrie Lehman Trust. County Solicitor Mary Beth
Shank provided more detail on this item but she is still trying to research if Ms. Lehman
had county services to determine where these funds should be used. Ms. Shank also
explained the need for item #1, Uniform policy to establish conditions of nontaxable
status for uniforms work by County employees. The following item was approved today
and the remainder items will be approved Thursday, March 20, 2014.
The Board reviewed Commissioners matters. On a motion by Robert G.
Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved Resolution #2014-
05 to authorize the Board of Commissioners, individually or collectively, to execute all
documents pursuant to receipt of funds from Carrie C. Lehman, Trust under will.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:45 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by Robert L. Thomas.
