The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, April 18, 2017, with the
following members present: David S. Keller and Robert L. Thomas. Chairman Keller
presided and after calling the meeting to order, a Moment of Silence, and the Pledge of
Allegiance, proceeded with the business of the day.
Chairman Keller announced that Commissioner Ziobrowski will not be in
attendance today. On a motion by Robert L. Thomas; seconded by David S. Keller;
unanimously approved to adopt the agenda.
There was no public comment.
The minutes of the April 11, 2017 and April 13, 2017 meetings were reviewed.
These will be approved Thursday, April 20, 2017.
The Board reviewed Agreements, Contracts and Reports. The following item
was approved today while the remaining item will be approved Thursday, April 20, 2017.
The Board reviewed Grants/CJAB matters. On a motion by Robert L. Thomas;
seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously approved the Grant Application to the
Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) in the amount of
$13,308.00 for County Adult Probation and Parole System Improvement Funds, for the
period of April 19, 2017 through June 30, 2017. These funds will be used to purchase
six tablet devices for Officers to perform mobile risk assessments and access UCMS
while in the field.
The Board reviewed appointments to the Franklin/Fulton Drug and Alcohol
Advisory Board. On a motion by Robert L. Thomas, seconded by David Keller;
unanimously approved to appoint Greg Weaver to serve on the Franklin/Fulton Drug and
Alcohol Advisory Board for a term of April 10, 2017 through April 10, 2020.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:41 a.m. with a motion by Robert L. Thomas;
seconded by David S. Keller.
