The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, January 15, 2019, with the
following members present: Robert L. Thomas and Robert G. Ziobrowski. Vice
Chairman Thomas presided and after calling the meeting to order, a Moment of Silence,
and the Pledge of Allegiance, proceeded with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas;
unanimously approved to adopt the agenda.
There was no public comment.
The minutes of the January 7, 2019, January 8, 2019 and January 10, 2019
meetings were reviewed. These will be decided upon on Thursday, January 17, 2019.
The Board reviewed Agreements, Contracts and Reports. Commissioner
Thomas explained that board action item #1 with Blair County is needed due to the
Aging Office being short staffed. Ms. Gray explained further that they are short staffed
but have hired a few employees that need trained. There is still a need for these
services to be provided to seniors so Blair County will assist as needed until the staff is
trained properly. The items will be approved Thursday, January 17, 2019.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:01 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by Robert L. Thomas.
