The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, June 9, 2009, with the
following members present: Robert L. Thomas, David S. Keller and Robert G.
Ziobrowski. Chairman Thomas presided and after calling the meeting to order, and the
Pledge of Allegiance proceeded with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously
approved to adopt the agenda.
The minutes of June 2, 2009 and June 4, 2009 meetings were read. These will
be approved and signed on Thursday, June 11, 2009
The Board reviewed Agreements and Contracts. These will be approved and
signed on Thursday, June 11, 2009.
The Board reviewed MH/MR matters. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously approved the Provider Agreement between
the County of Franklin and Department of Public Welfare, Office of Developmental
Programs for the County to participate in the Pennsylvania's Consolidated and
Person/Family Directed Support Waivers for the period of July 1, 2009 through June 30,
2011.
The Board reviewed Nursing Home matters. On a motion by Robert G.
Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously approved to award the RFP for
Barber/Beautician Services to Marion Mattress for a total bid price of $1,090.00 per
month or $13,080.00 per year for a three year period.
The Board met with the County Solicitor to review related matters.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller;
unanimously approved to enter an executive session at 10:22 a.m. this date for the
purpose to review Contract Dispute matters and County Benefits Potential Claim
matters. The Board reconvened into regular session at 10:48 a.m.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:00 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by David S. Keller.
