The Franklin County Election Board met, Thursday, August 18, 2009 with the
following members present: Robert L. Thomas, David S. Keller and Robert G.
Ziobrowski. Chairman Thomas presided and after calling the meeting to order,
proceeded with the business of the day.
The Board received a letter from James Taylor, Republican Party Chairman that
Erich Hawbaker is resigning as Republican Committee Person for Peters I and has
replaced this committee person with Roger Blattenberger of 4334 Fort Loudon Road,
Mercersburg. Mr. Hawbaker of 125 Linden Avenue, Mercersburg was appointed to
Mercersburg.
The Board received a letter from Beth Shupp-George, Democrat Party Chairman,
that the following individuals will serve as committee persons in their respective district:
Sheri Morgan Greencastle 2
431 Leitersburg Street, Greencastle
Garrett Blanchet Washington Township 5
16 Eastland Circle, Waynesboro
Willa Jessee resigned as Committeewoman in Southampton Mount Rock.
The Board received a letter from James Taylor, Republican Party Chairman that
John Pace is resigning as Republican Committee Person for Hamilton 2 and has
replaced this committee person with John Pace II, 1444 Nittany Drive, Chambersburg.
The Board received a letter from James Taylor, Republican Party Chairman that
James A. Strite, Jr. is resigning as Republican Committee Person for Greene 4 and has
replaced this committee person with Dwight D. Weidman, 16 Summer Breeze Lane,
Chambersburg.
The Board received a letter from James Taylor, Republican Party Chairman that the
following individuals will serve as committee persons in their respective district:
Mark M. Singer Greencastle 2
235 Apple Drive, Greencastle
The meeting was adjourned.
