HomeMy WebLinkAbout2022-08-10 Election Board Minutes WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 10, 2022 The Franklin County Election Board met Wednesday, August 10, 2022, with the following members present: David S. Keller, John T. Flannery and Robert G. Ziobrowski. Chairman Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, proceeded with the business of the day. Jean Byers, Deputy Chief Clerk/Election Director, and Jennie Aines, Chief Registrar, met with the Election Board to review several grant opportunities: 1. Election Security Grant in the amount of $76,896.09 to reimburse the County for expenditures related to the 2020 election. 2. 2022 Election Security Grant in the amount of $12,353.32 to reimburse the County for expenditures related to the 2022 elections. 3. Act 88 - Election Integrity Grant in the amount of $507,118.38 to be used for various activities pertaining to pre-canvass and canvass, post-election procedures, list maintenance activities, printing of ballots, training and payment of pollworkers, process of voter registration applications and secure preparation, transportation, storage and management of voting apparatuses, tabulation equipment and required polling place materials. The meeting was adjourned at 2:50 p.m. with a motion by John T. Flannery; seconded by Robert G. Ziobrowski. Carrie E.
