The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, October 13, 2009, with the
following members present: Robert L. Thomas, David S. Keller and Robert G.
Ziobrowski. Chairman Thomas presided and after calling the meeting to order, and the
Pledge of Allegiance proceeded with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously
approved to adopt the agenda.
The Board observed a moment of silence to honor John F. Nelson, Franklin
County District Attorney, who recently passed away.
The minutes of October 6, 2009 and October 8, 2009 meetings were read.
These will be approved and signed on Thursday, October 15, 2009.
The Board reviewed Agreements and Contracts. These will be approved and
signed on Thursday, October 15, 2009.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:13 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by David S. Keller.
The Board reconvened at 9:22 a.m.
The Board reviewed Commissioners' Office matters. On a motion by Robert G.
Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously approved the Landowner -
Grantee Agreement between the County of Franklin and Franklin County Conservation
District for the waste storage roof, roof spouting & pipe system and rain garden project
located at 191 Franklin Farm Lane, Chambersburg for a project estimated cost of
$11,910.67 total cash and total in-kind of $4,999.50 for a total project cost of $16,910.17.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:25 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by David S. Keller.
