The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, January 12, 2010, with the
following members present: David S. Keller, Robert L. Thomas and Robert G.
Ziobrowski. Chairman Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, and the
Pledge of Allegiance proceeded with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously
approved to adopt the agenda.
The minutes of January 4, January 5 and January 7, 2010 meetings were read.
These will be approved Thursday, January 14, 2010.
The Board reviewed Agreements and Contracts. These will be approved
Thursday, January 14, 2010.
The Board reviewed Department of Emergency Services matters. On a motion
by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously approved
Resolution #2010-01, which is attached and made a part of these minutes and letter to
Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency for Franklin County Amended Triennial
9-1-1 Plan.
The Board reviewed Human Resources matters. On a motion by Robert G.
Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously approved HIPAA Business
Associate Addendum between the County of Franklin and Delta Dental for the County's
dental plan.
The Board met with the County Solicitor to review related matters.
The Board recessed at 9:19 a.m. and will return at 11:30 a.m.
Congressman Bill Shuster held a press conference with the Board of
Commissioners, the Franklin County Emergency Services Alliance Committee, local fire,
police and municipality representatives to announce that he secured a COPS grant in
the amount of $300,000.00 to be used for radio upgrades.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:59 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by Robert L. Thomas.
