The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, January 26, 2010, with the
following members present: David S. Keller and Robert G. Ziobrowski. Chairman Keller
presided and after calling the meeting to order, and the Pledge of Allegiance proceeded
with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously
approved to adopt the agenda.
The minutes of January 19, 2010 and January 21, 2010 meetings were read.
These will be approved Thursday, January 28, 2010.
The Board reviewed Agreements and Contracts. These will be approved
Thursday, January 28, 2010.
The Board reviewed Drug & Alcohol matters. On a motion by Robert G.
Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously approved the 2010 Budget
Adjustment to provide for various items carried over from the 2009 for Drug & Alcohol
RIP Grant.
John Hart, Chief Clerk/County Administrator informed the Board of the following
items: the recent rain event and that Mickey's Inn was evacuated yesterday and
everything went smoothly; the County received a letter from PennDot about Twin
Bridges. Nassaux-Hemsley engineer will meet with PennDot to get questions answered;
Farm Service Agency lease will be finalized soon; explained Act 44 funds that is a
special allocation for Liquid Fuels; receiving appeals of records requests and working
with Harrisburg office to handle these.
The Board met with the County Solicitor to review related matters.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:14 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by David S. Keller.
