HomeMy WebLinkAbout2010-03-02 Commissioner MinutesTUESDAY, MARCH 2, 2010 The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, March 2, 2010, with the following members present: David S. Keller, Robert L. Thomas and Robert G. Ziobrowski. Chairman Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, and the Pledge of Allegiance proceeded with the business of the day. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved to adopt the agenda. The minutes of February 23, 2010 and February 25, 2010 meetings were read. These will be approved Thursday, March 4, 2010. The Board reviewed Agreements and Contracts. These will be approved Thursday, March 4, 2010. Craig Meyers, Operations and Training Specialist and David Donohue, DES Director was present for Mr. Meyers to receive a Citation from the Board for providing cyber security training to the business community which has improved the security awareness within the business community, and improving the community's ability to deter computer based crimes, including identity theft and fraud. John Hart, Chief Clerk/County Administrator informed the Board of the following items: Tour of new court facility in York County; budget for facilities project; and staff is working on management plans. The Board met with the County Solicitor and Jerrold Sulcove, Esquire to review related matters. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved to enter an executive session at 9:30 a.m. this date for the purpose to review Litigation matters. The Board reconvened into regular session at 9:50 a.m. The meeting was adjourned at 10:05 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas. FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
