The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, March 23, 2010, with the
following members present: David S. Keller, Robert L. Thomas and Robert G.
Ziobrowski. Chairman Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, and the
Pledge of Allegiance proceeded with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas;
unanimously approved to adopt the agenda.
The minutes of March 16, 2010 and March 18, 2010 meetings were read. These
will be approved Thursday, March 25, 2010.
The Board reviewed Agreements and Contracts. These will be approved
Thursday, March 25, 2010.
John Hart, Chief Clerk/County Administrator informed the Board of the following
items: Attended CCAP Spring Conference. Several sessions related to veterans
returning from war and Penn State Extension services reducing to 4 regions; Preparing
for public comment session on facilities on March 25th and State of the County Vision
2020 on April 1St
The Board met with the County Solicitor to review related matters.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas;
unanimously approved to enter an executive session at 2:29 p.m. this date for the
purpose to review Litigation matters. The Board reconvened into regular session at
2:37 p.m.
The Board reviewed Assessment matters. On a motion by Robert G.
Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved to authorize the
Tax Services Solicitor, Mary Beth Shank, to settle WASHCO Highlands of Greenvillage,
LLC V. Board of Assessment and Revision of Taxes of Franklin County, PA Nos. 2008-
4926, 2008-4927 on behalf of the Board of Assessment.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:40 p.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by Robert L. Thomas.
