The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, April 27, 2010, with the
following members present: David S. Keller, Robert L. Thomas and Robert G.
Ziobrowski. Chairman Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, and the
Pledge of Allegiance proceeded with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas;
unanimously approved to adopt the agenda.
The minutes of April 20, 2010 and April 22, 2010 meetings were read. These will
be approved Thursday, April 29, 2010.
The Board reviewed Agreements and Contracts. These will be approved
Thursday, April 29, 2010.
The Board reviewed Fiscal matters. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved the Engagement letter between
the County of Franklin and Smith Elliott Kearns & Co. to provide accounting assistance
by a staff person from Smith Elliott Kearns during the vacancies created by resignations
in the Fiscal Department at a cost of $60.00 per hour not to exceed 40 hours per week
or a total of 240 hours, effective April 28, 2010.
John Hart, Chief Clerk/County Administrator informed the Board of the following
items: Working with ITA for guiding principles for Information Services and will be an
agreement coming in next week; Receiving quotes to lay fiber for the archive project.
The Board met with the County Solicitor to review related matters.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas;
unanimously approved to enter an executive session at 9:18 a.m. this date for the
purpose to review Litigation matters. The Board reconvened into regular session at
9:40 a.m.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:58 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by Robert L. Thomas.
