TUESDAY, MAY 11, 2010
The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, May 11, 2010, with the
following members present: David S. Keller, Robert L. Thomas and Robert G.
Ziobrowski. Chairman Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, and the
Pledge of Allegiance proceeded with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas;
unanimously approved to adopt the agenda.
The minutes of May 4, 2010 and March 6, 2010 meetings were read. These will
be approved Thursday, May 13, 2010.
The Board reviewed Agreements and Contracts. These will be approved
Thursday, May 13, 2010.
The Board reviewed appointments to the Tuscarora Managed Care Alliance
Steering Committee. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski, seconded by Robert L.
Thomas; unanimously approved to appoint Teresa Beckner to fill an unexpired term to
expire on December 31, 2010.
John Hart, Chief Clerk/County Administrator informed the Board of the following
items: Update on the budget summary that Fiscal presented last week. The ½
reduction will be reviewed, will look at setting priorities and will report back to Board.
The Board reviewed information regarding National Emergency Medical
Services Week. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski, seconded by Robert L.
Thomas; unanimously approved to sign Franklin County Proclamation #2010-07

proclaiming the week of May 16 – May 22 as National Emergency Medical
Services Week and that the attached proclamation be made a part of these minutes.
The Board met with Gerald Sulcove, Esquire to review Solicitor matters.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski, seconded by Robert L. Thomas;
unanimously approved to enter an executive session at 9:29 a.m. this date for the
purpose to review Litigation and Personnel matters. The Board reconvened into
regular session at 10:25 a.m.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:27 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by Robert L. Thomas.
