HomeMy WebLinkAbout2010-09-07 Commissioner Minutes TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2010 The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, September 7, 2010, with the following members present: David S. Keller, Robert L. Thomas and Robert G. Ziobrowski. Chairman Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, and the Pledge of Allegiance proceeded with the business of the day. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved to adopt the agenda. There was no public comment. The minutes of August 31, 2010 and September 2, 2010 meetings were read. These will be approved Thursday, September 9, 2010. The Board reviewed Agreements and Contracts. These will be approved Thursday, September 9, 2010. The Board reviewed Aging matters. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved for the Chairman of the Board to execute the Release and Indemnity Agreement between the County of Franklin and PREIT Services, LLC to use the Chambersburg Mall for the Senior Health Fair being held on September 10, 2010 that is being sponsored by Representative Kauffman. The Board reviewed Commissioners matters. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved the Proposal from Noelker and Hull Associates, Inc. to provide site selection feasibility study at a cost not to exceed $135,000. The Board reviewed additional Commissioners matters. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved for the Chairman of the Board to execute the Contract between the County of Franklin and On Demand Energy Solutions for purchase of electric for facilities on Franklin Farm Lane as per the list attached to the Contract. The Board recessed at 10:10 p.m. and will reconvene at 1:00 p.m. for a Retirement Board meeting. The Board held a Franklin County Retirement Board meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 4:30 p.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas. FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
