TUESDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2010
The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, December 14, 2010, with the
following members present: David S. Keller, Robert L. Thomas and Robert G.
Ziobrowski. Chairman Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, and the
Pledge of Allegiance proceeded with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas;
unanimously approved to adopt the agenda.
There was no public comment.
The minutes of December 7, 2010 and December 9, 2010 meetings were read.
These will be approved Thursday, December 16, 2010.
The Board reviewed Agreements and Contracts. These will be approved
Thursday, December 16, 2010.
The Board reviewed Emergency Services matters. On a motion by Robert G.
Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved the following
statement: The Acceptance of the County of the CAD VisionAir System equipment and
approval to issue payment to CenturyLink in the amount of $458,977.87, the cost of the
equipment and installation.
The Board met with the County Solicitor to review related matters.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas;
to enter an executive session at 9:08 a.m. this date for the
unanimously approved
purpose to review Real Estate matters concerning the Lease for the Aging office.
The Board reconvened into regular session at 9:22 a.m.
The Board reviewed Commissioners Office matters. On a motion by Robert G.
Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved the Lease
Agreement between the County of Franklin and Nickson W. Oyer for lease of 11,490
square feet of office space at 600 Norland Avenue, Chambersburg for the Aging office
and Senior Activity Center at a cost of $120,645.00 annually for the period of June 1,
2011 through May 31, 2016.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:23 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by Robert L. Thomas.
