TUESDAY, JANUARY 18, 2011
The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, January 18, 2011, with the
following members present: David S. Keller, Robert L. Thomas and Robert G.
Ziobrowski. Chairman Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, and the
Pledge of Allegiance proceeded with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas;
unanimously approved to adopt the agenda.
There was no public comment.
The minutes of January 11, 2011 and January 13, 2011 meetings were read.
These will be approved Thursday, January 20, 2011.
The Board reviewed Agreements and Contracts. These will be approved
Thursday, January 20, 2011.
Mary Beth Shank, County Solicitor met with the Board to discuss a petition to
appoint the Board of Elections for 2011. This appointment is required by law due to the
fact that the current setting Commissioners are running for reelection and can not serve
as the Election Board. This petition needs approval of the court and will be presented to
the president Judge. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L.
Thomas; unanimously approved the recommendations that will be given to the President
Judge for the Election Board.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas;
to enter an executive session at 9:44 a.m. this date for the
unanimously approved
purpose to review Personnel matters. The Board reconvened into regular session at
9:57 a.m.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:57 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by Robert L. Thomas.
