FRIDAY, MAY 13, 2011
The Franklin County Election Board met Friday, May 13, 2011 with the following
members present: George Fries, II, Owen E. Myers, and James C. Zeger. Chairman
Fries presided and after calling the meeting to order, proceeded with the business of the
day.
The Board conducted a public test of the election equipment in preparation for
the May 17, 2011 Municipal Primary.
The Board also discussed the notice received by the Knights of Columbus that
their facility was not available to be used as a polling place for the Chambersburg 5-2
precinct for the upcoming election. On a motion by Chairman Fries, seconded by Owen
Myers, the Election Board approved moving the polling place to the Chambersburg
Bible Church, 810 Orchard Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17201 for this election only.
The meeting was adjourned.
