TUESDAY, JUNE 28, 2011
The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, June 28, 2011, with the
following members present: David S. Keller and Robert L. Thomas. Chairman Keller
presided and after calling the meeting to order, and the Pledge of Allegiance proceeded
with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert L. Thomas; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously
approved to adopt the agenda with the addition of an executive session to discuss
personnel matters following press time, as requested by John Hart, Chief Clerk/County
Administrator.
There was no public comment.
The minutes of June 21, 2011 and June 23, 2011 meetings were read. These
will be approved as amended Thursday, June 30, 2011.
The Board reviewed Agreements and Contracts. The Board had questions about
the Coroner budget transfer and the FSNRC Medical Records software agreement
and Mr. Hart provided more information on these items. Noll Wilt, IS Director will attend
the Thursday meeting to provide more information on the medical records agreement.
The Board approved the following Board Action item and the remainder items will be
approved Thursday, June 30, 2011.
The Board reviewed Planning matters. On a motion by Robert L. Thomas;
seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously approved the Consent Order and Agreement
between the County of Franklin and PA Department of Environmental Protection for
development of a County Solid Waste Plan as outlined in the PA Solid Waste
Management Act.
On a motion by Robert L. Thomas; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously
approved to enter an executive session at 9:46 a.m. this date for the purpose to review
Personnel matters. The Board reconvened into regular session at 10:07 a.m. No action
will be required after executive session.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:07 a.m. with a motion by Robert L. Thomas;
seconded by David S. Keller.
