In a continuing effort to keep up with the ever changing industry of
recycling, Chambersburg Area School District and EISI are teaming up to make
things easier and cost effective. Starting February 1 sl 2009 we will begin the
process to streamline our recycling efforts. This means that all recyclable
products will be placed into the same container. The dumpster that is marked
CARDBOARD ONLY will now be used to take the following items...
CARDBOARD
OFFICE PAPER - IN CLEAR PLASTIC BAGS
GLASS JARS AND BOTTLES - CLEAR, GREEN AND BROWN - UNBROKEN
PLASTIC FOOD AND BEVERAGE - CONTAINERS #1 AND #2 ONLY
ALUMINUM I STEEL CANS - MUST BE RINSED OUT
NEWSPAPERS - BUNDLED SEPERATEL Y
MAGAZINES - BUNDLED SEPERATEL Y
New signage will be placed on the containers soon !
