TUESDAY, MAY 29, 2012
The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, May 29, 2012, with the
following members present: David S. Keller, Robert L. Thomas and Robert G.
Ziobrowski. Chairman Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, and the
Pledge of Allegiance proceeded with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas;
unanimously approved to adopt the agenda.
There was no public comment.
The minutes of May 22, 2012 and May 24, 2012 meetings were reviewed. These
will be approved Thursday, May 31, 2012.
The Board reviewed Agreements, Contracts and Reports. Commissioner
Thomas said the internet contract is going from 10 MG to 20 MG even though there is a
reduction of $50 per month. The items will be approved Thursday, May 31, 2012.
Larry Booze, Jim Birgfield, Telecommunicators and David Donohue, DES
Director was present for Mr. Booze and Mr. Birgfield to receive a Letter of
Commendation from the Board for coordinating law enforcement response to assist an
ambulance crew that had entered into a situation where they were met with the potential
for severe bodily injury. Their actions were directly responsible for bringing this incident
to a successful conclusion, ensuring the safety of the ambulance crew and the patient
and demonstrate dedication to duty, pride and professionalism which reflect favorably
upon themselves and Franklin County Department of Emergency Services.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:52 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by Robert L. Thomas.
