The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, August 26, 2014, with the
following members present: David S. Keller and Robert G. Ziobrowski. Chairman
Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, a Moment of Silence, and the
Pledge of Allegiance, proceeded with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously
approved to adopt the agenda. Chairman Keller announced that Commissioner Thomas
will not be in attendance today.
Kim Wertz provided public comment and asked for more information on board
action items 5 ® 8.
The minutes of the August 19, 2014 and August 21, 2014 meetings were
reviewed. These will be approved Thursday, August 28, 2014.
The Board reviewed Agreements, Contracts and Reports. Coroner Jeff Conner
was present to explain the need for the supplemental appropriation for the Coroner's
Office due to an increase in autopsies and vehicle repairs. an Hoover, Chief Probation
Officer, and Shawn Burkhart, Probation Officer, were present to explain board actions 1
— 8. Mr. Hoover explained there have been structural changes with the Restrictive
Intermediate Punishment Grant and these agreements will now be billed through Adult
Probation instead of Drug &Alcohol. The items will be approved Thursday, August 28,
2014.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:48 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by David S. Keller.
