The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, June 9, 2015, with the
following members present: David S. Keller, Robert L. Thomas and Robert G.
Ziobrowski. Chairman Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, a Moment
of Silence, and the Pledge of Allegiance, proceeded with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas;
unanimously approved to adopt the agenda.
Kim Wertz provided public comment and would like more explanation on board
action item 3, supplemental appropriation to provide budget for the Re-entry Planning
Grant and item , Scope of Work agreement with US Department of Housing and
Urban Development (HUD).
The minutes of the June 2, 2015 and June 4, 2015 meetings were reviewed.
These will be approved Thursday, June 11, 2015.
The Board reviewed Agreements, Contracts and Reports. Shalom Black, Grants
Manager, was present and explained board action item #3 that it refers to how the
budget needs to move to help pay for the Reentry Planning Grant. She explained further
the facilitator will be brought in to look at better services to help get released inmates
back into the community. Ms. Black explained board action item #4 is a scope of work
for two grants that the County received from HUD and will include the actual written plan
that the facilitator will help develop. The following item needs approved today while the
remaining items will be approved Thursday, June 11, 2015.
The Board reviewed Commissioners matters. On a motion by Robert G.
Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved the Authorization
Resolution to Farmers & Merchants Trust Company to designate authorized signatories
for the Veterans Affairs Grant Fund account.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:47 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by Robert L. Thomas.
