HomeMy WebLinkAbout2016-06-09 Commissioner Minutes THURSDAY, JUNE 9, 2016 The Franklin County Commissioners met Thursday, June 9, 2016, with the following members present: David S. Keller, Robert L. Thomas and Robert G. Ziobrowski. The Board attended the Prison Board meeting. Chairman Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, a Moment of Silence, and the Pledge of Allegiance, proceeded with the business of the day. On a motion by Robert L. Thomas, seconded by Robert G. Ziobrowski; unanimously approved to adopt the agenda. There was no public comment. On a motion by Robert L. Thomas, seconded by Robert G. Ziobrowski; unanimously approved all bills presented and ordered paid. On a motion by Robert L. Thomas, seconded by Robert G. Ziobrowski; unanimously approved the minutes of the May 31, 2016 and June 2, 2016 meetings. The Board conducted a bid opening for the Sale of Various County items. The following bidders submitted bids: Lance Summers bid $251.00 for the front end loader bucket for a John Deere tractor; Jim Goetz bid $402.00 for the certification provers, equipment, trailer and weights previously used to certify gas pumps at gas stations; Josh Cordell bid $100.00 for the 1997 Chevrolet 3500 extended cab van, $125.00 for 1997 Dodge Ram 3500 van, $110.00 for the 1999 Chevrolet Lumina, $125.00 for the 1,000 gallon fuel tank, $105.00 for the 300 gallon fuel tank, $50.00 for the old farm equipment and $100.00 for the generator from Clark's Knob; Greg Wagaman bid $25.00 for the Generator from Clark's Knob; Galen Wilson bid $200.00 for the certification provers, equipment, trailer and weights previously used to certify gas pumps at gas stations; and Adam Sanders bid $50.00 for the front end loader bucket and $50.00 for the certification provers, equipment, trailer and weights previously used to certify gas pumps at gas stations. On a motion by Robert L. Thomas, seconded by Robert G. Ziobrowski; unanimously approved to award to the following: Lance Summers for $251.00 for the front end loader bucket; Jim Goetz for $402.00 for the certification provers, equipment, trailer and weights; Josh Cordell for$100.00 for the 1997 Chevrolet 3500 extended cab van, $125.00 for the 1997 Dodge Ram 3500 van, $110.00 for the 1999 Chevrolet Lumina, $125.00 for the 1,000 gallon fuel tank, $105.00 for the 300 gallon fuel tank, $50.00 for the old farm equipment and $100.00 for the generator from Clark's Knob.
