The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, July 12, 2016, with the
following members present: David S. Keller and Robert L. Thomas. Chairman Keller
presided and after calling the meeting to order, a Moment of Silence, and the Pledge of
Allegiance, proceeded with the business of the day.
John Hart, County Administrator, asked to include an executive session to
discuss a personnel matter. Chairman Keller announced that Commissioner Ziobrowski
will not be present this week. On a motion by Robert L. Thomas; seconded by David S.
Keller; unanimously approved to adopt the amended agenda.
Cody Reed, from Chambersburg, provided public comment and asked if there
would be savings if the County doesn't approve the contract with Candoris and just
replace the hard drives?
The minutes of the July 5, 2016 and July 7, 2016 meetings were reviewed.
These will be approved Thursday, July 14, 2016.
The Board reviewed Agreements, Contracts and Reports. Chairman Keller
asked John Hart to explain board action item #2, agreement with Candoris, to answer
Mr. Reed's question during public comment. Mr. Hart said he doesn't know the cost
because we can't predict if we will have hard drives fail. He said this agreement
guarantees us support and parts in a quick fashion if something happens to any hard
drives. He will research to find out if there would be savings. The items will be
approved Thursday, July 14, 2016.
On a motion by Robert L. Thomas; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously
approved to enter an executive session at 9:37 a.m. this date for the purpose to review a
personnel matter. The Board reconvened into regular session at 9:51 a.m. No action
was required after the executive session.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:54 a.m. with a motion by Robert L. Thomas;
seconded by David S. Keller.
