HomeMy WebLinkAboutPheebeKnow ye that I Benjamin Chambers of Franklin County in the state of Pennsylvania for and in Consideration of Filial affection and divers other good reasons and causes me thereunto moving Do by these Presents Voluntarily Give bestow and transfer to my Daughter Ruhamah Colhoon and her assigns a certain Mulatto Girl a Slave, named Pheebe about thirteen years of age and by these Presents do confirm to my said Daughter Ruhamah and her assigns all my Right title and Property in or to the said Slave Pheebe from myself my heirs executors administrators or assigns. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this first day of August in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and eighty five.
