HomeMy WebLinkAbout2018-10-02 Commissioner Minutes TUESDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2018 The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, October 2, 2018, with the following members present: David S. Keller, Robert L. Thomas and Robert G. Ziobrowski. Chairman Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, a Moment of Silence, and the Pledge of Allegiance, proceeded with the business of the day. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved to adopt the agenda. There was no public comment. The minutes of the September 25, 2018 and September 27, 2018 meetings were reviewed. These will be decided upon on Thursday, October 4, 2018. The Board reviewed Agreements, Contracts and Reports. Chairman Keller explained that the Project Modification Requests for the Child Advocacy Center is due to PA Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) changing requirements for the need to document other revenue. Glenda Helman, Grants Manager, explained further that previously they did not look at other income into project programs in regards to PCCD dollars. The last 6 months they looked at the entire cost of the program. Commissioner Thomas responded that the last time the State did this with the Conservation District, they used it to reduce funding. Carrie Gray, County Administrator, provided more information on moving the 911 backup center. The equipment will be moved to a closet and will be relocated within the same building. This was identified as a need prior to the remodel decision. The following item was approved today while the remaining items will be approved Thursday, October 4, 2018. The Board reviewed Veterans Affairs matters. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved for the Chairman of the Board to execute the contract between the County of Franklin and Kegerreis Outdoor on November 1, 2018 at a cost of $1,289.00. The ads will run from October 17, 2018 through October 31, 2018. The meeting was adjourned at 9:40 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas. Carrie E.
