TUESDAY, JUNE 4, 2019
The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, June 4, 2019, with the
following members present: David S. Keller, Robert L. Thomas and Robert G.
Ziobrowski. Chairman Keller presided and after calling the meeting to order, a Moment
of Silence, and the Pledge of Allegiance, proceeded with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by Robert L. Thomas;
unanimously approved to adopt the agenda.
There was no public comment.
The minutes of the May 28, 2019 and May 30, 2019 meetings were reviewed.
These will be decided upon on Thursday, June 6, 2019.
The Board reviewed Agreements, Contracts and Reports. Commissioner
Thomas asked for more information on board action item #6, extension for the Good
Wolf Treatment Court Project. Carrie Gray, County Administrator, explained that, as part
of a state request to the federal government, we are asking to extend the PA
Commission on Crime and Delinquency grant for the Good Wolf Treatment Court.
Glenda Helman, Grants Manager, explained further that we had to split the request into
PMR because they had not heard back from the federal funder yet. The items will be
approved Thursday, June 6, 2019.
The Board reviewed appointments to the Franklin County Library Board. On a
motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski, seconded by Robert L. Thomas; unanimously approved
to appoint Kim Shockey to serve a term of June 4, 2019 through December 31, 2020.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:36 a.m. with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by Robert L. Thomas.
