The Franklin County Commissioners met Tuesday, February 10, 2009, with the
following members present: Robert L. Thomas, David S. Keller and Robert G.
Ziobrowski. Chairman Thomas presided and after calling the meeting to order, and the
Pledge of Allegiance proceeded with the business of the day.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously
approved to adopt the agenda.
Public comment was received from Gladys Bennett who would like the Board to
speak a little louder; she is able to hear the Board but can not hear John Hart.
The minutes of February 10, 2009 and February 12, 2009 meetings were read.
These will be approved and signed on Thursday, February 19, 2009
The Board reviewed Agreements and Contracts. These will be approved and
signed on Thursday, February 19, 2009.
The Board met with the County Solicitor to review related matters.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller;
unanimously approved to enter an executive session at 9:10 a.m. this date for the
purpose to review Real Estate matters. The Board reconvened into regular session
at 9:36 a.m.
On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller;
unanimously approved to amend the agenda to include assessment matters.
The Board reviewed Assessment matters. On a motion by Robert G.
Ziobrowski; seconded by David S. Keller; unanimously approved that the premises
of Franklin County Tax Parcel #OP03-014 of Clarence M. Bierd having the
assessment of $15,040.00 shall have the lawful assessment of $7,280.00 for the tax
year 2009 and all future tax years.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:47 am with a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski;
seconded by David S. Keller.
