HomeMy WebLinkAbout2021-01-27 Election Board Minutes WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 27, 2021 The Franklin County Election Board met, Wednesday, January 27, 2021 with the following members present: John T. Flannery and Robert G. Ziobrowski. Vice Chairman Flannery presided and after calling the meeting to order, proceeded with the business of the day. Jean Byers, Deputy Chief Clerk explained that every four years prior to Judges of Election and Inspectors of Election running for office we discuss whether to increase their payment before they start circulating their petitions. The last time the pay was increased was in December 2016. She said that we have to follow election code and the parameter goes by number of votes. On a motion by Robert G. Ziobrowski; seconded by John T. Flannery; unanimously approved to increase the compensation for Judges of Election to $130.00 for 150 votes or less; $140.00 for 151-300 votes; $150.00 for 301- 500 votes; $165.00 for 501-750 votes and $180.00 for 751 votes and over. For Minority Inspectors, Majority Inspectors, Clerks, and Constables to $120.00 for 150 votes or less; $130.00 for 151-300 votes; $140.00 for 301500 votes; $150.00 for 501-750 votes and $160.00 for 751 votes and over.
